The first few days of my baby girl’s life in pictures. She is only a month old and I already look back on her first pictures and miss her being that little baby. She is still a baby and will be a baby for a while but life really does move too fast, you just don’t notice until your baby comes along.
Isabella’s baby shower was a great success, we had so much going on that it was kinda put together at the last minute but that didn’t stop it from being a great day to celebrate bringing our babygirl into the world. It was a team effort but Millie’s sister Ruthy was the star by far. While we split some things up like i got alot of the food and drinks and utensils at BJ’s she got all the decorations and had the vision. We both made food for the event and i would say we did pretty good.
The day, however, would not have gone off without a hitch if not for her being the hostess with the mostess, she did all the decorations, arranged where things would go, planned and executed most of the day inclusing the games and events she put together. She came down with her family around 5 am so it was a long day, I had my sister come over around 9 am and everyone just pitched in to get things done. We got the invitations out late, people were not very good at RSVP’ing and a lot of the shopping was done last minute but that didn’t stop it from being a great and unforgettable baby shower (see the above video) but a special shoutout goes out to Isabellas auntiew Ruthy for making her day so special.
So despite being a crazy summer getting ready for baby and what not we did manage to get out on the boat/lake a few times. The boat ran great after have to replace the starter which was a nightmare since the place I gt it from order the wrong starter multiple times, what should have been fixed in 2 days took a week.
In the end we got it replaced and had some good times on the lake this season, sadly, it’s about time to winterize the boat and put her to bed.
So behind though and so many things to catch up on, for instance our little baby girl. This video is basically a little pregnancy announcement video I put together. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Sleeping Dogs is an open environment action game set in the crime world of the Hong Kong Triads. The protagonist controlled by the player is Wei Shen, a Chinese-American police officer who returns to the Hong Kong neighbourhood of his youth to infiltrate the Triad organization Sun On Yee. In the opening scenes he quickly hooks up again with his old friend Jackie Ma who introduces him to the Triad boss Winston Chu. Even though many characters still remember Shen from long ago, he has to work his way back up. The main storyline has him perform various missions for the organization, starting with simple extortion quests with the local merchants. These quests have to be followed to make available new missions and open up new parts of the city, but a role-playing element allows Shen to choose his own path. Three types of experience points can be earned: Triad, Cop and Face. The first two determine Shen’s devotion to either the Triad or the police respectively, based on his actions. The third is an overall experience system that determines Shen global reputation. Leveling up opens up new upgrades through a skill tree system. Players are free to leave the story behind and explore the city at their own leisure.
It’s been so long since I made a video, one of my favorite past times. Today is a snow day, the “im not going anywhere today” kind of day. I deciced i would take Heidi out to play in the snow and take out the ol’ GoPro.
I also wanted to try video editing on the Mac using iMovie so that’s how this little video was made. I cant take to much credit as the sofware has a ‘Trailer” mode which makes it really easy to put together this video and present it like a real trailer. I think it came out good for what it is.
I started late this year so I might not get to watch anything aside from the series I’m working on now which is…….wait for it……Nightmare on Elm Street! I have seen all these movies scattered over the year but never all of them in order before. So far I’m happy with my nostalgic choice, they don’t make movies like this anymore and in some ways that’s good and in some ways bad. I don’t know I would watch these movies if it wasn’t Halloween or Friday the 13th any other special spooky night. I love these cheesy 80’s movies but at the end of the day they are still “cheesy 80’s movies”.
